qcapturablewindow.cpp ! \class QCapturableWindow \inmodule QtMultimedia \ingroup multimedia \ingroup multimedia_video \since 6.6 \brief Used for getting the basic information of a capturable window. The class contains a set of window information, except the method QCapturableWindow::isValid which pulls the current state whenever it's called. \sa QWindowCapture 5694 -

qmediacapturesession.cpp ! \class QMediaCaptureSession \brief The QMediaCaptureSession class allows capturing of audio and video content. \inmodule QtMultimedia \ingroup multimedia \ingroup multimedia_video \ingroup multimedia_audio The QMediaCaptureSession is the central class that manages capturing of media on the local device. You can connect a video input to QMediaCaptureSession using setCamera(), setScreenCapture(), setWindowCapture() or setVideoFrameInput(). A preview of the captured media can be seen by setting a QVideoWidget or QGraphicsVideoItem using setVideoOutput(). You can connect a microphone to QMediaCaptureSession using setAudioInput(), or set your custom audio input using setAudioBufferInput(). The captured sound can be heard by routing the audio to an output device using setAudioOutput(). You can capture still images from a camera by setting a QImageCapture object on the capture session, and record audio/video using a QMediaRecorder. \sa QCamera, QAudioDevice, QMediaRecorder, QImageCapture, QScreenCapture, QWindowCapture, QVideoFrameInput, QGStreamerVideoSource, QMediaRecorder, QGraphicsVideoItem 23192 -

qmediarecorder.cpp ! \class QMediaRecorder \inmodule QtMultimedia \ingroup multimedia \ingroup multimedia_recording \ingroup multimedia_video \ingroup multimedia_audio \brief The QMediaRecorder class is used for encoding and recording a capture session. Use the QMediaRecorder class to encode and record media generated in \l QMediaCaptureSession. You can generate: \list \li Audio. Use \l QAudioInput or \l QAudioBufferInput. \li Video. Use \l QCamera, \l QScreenCapture, \l QWindowCapture, \l QVideoFrameInput, or \l QGStreamerVideoSource (on embedded Linux with the \c gstreamer media backend). \endlist To record media, connect a generator to a corresponding media capture session. Performance of video encoding and recording is limited by the hardware, the operating system, the installed graphic drivers, and the input video format. If \c QCamera, \c QScreenCapture, or \c QWindowCapture produces video frames faster than \c QMediaRecorder can encode and record them, the recorder may drop some frames. This is likely to occur if the input frame resolution is high, 4K for example, and hardware-accelerated encoding is unavailable. If you generate input video via \c QVideoFrameInput, the method \c QVideoFrameInput::sendVideoFrame will do nothing and return \c false whenever this limitation is reached and the internal frame queue is full. Rely on the signal \c QVideoFrameInput::readyToSendVideoFrame to know when the recorder is ready to receive new frames again. If you cannot change the rate of video frame generation and dropping frames is undesirable, we recommend implementing your own frame queue on top of \c QVideoFrameInput, considering the memory limitations of the hardware. \snippet multimedia-snippets/media.cpp Media recorder 38341 -
